The Akrapovic Full Moon Motorbike concept, developed by the Slovenian company together with Dreamachine Motorcycles, is a vehicle which defies categorization. Its unique look sets it apart from anything we’ve ever seen on a road or in a showroom before, and displays an evolution in design philosophy since the unveiling of the Morsus concept back in 2011.
Similarly to its predecessor, the Full Moon is equipped with a massive S&S Knucklehead 1,524cc engine, with improved performance thanks to features like the two modified custom-made exhausts, automated steering to reduce the amount of visible cables, and hydraulic suspension that can fix the bike upright when parked. The motorcycle’s name comes from an element at the front, namely the large aluminum and carbon shield covering the 30-inch front wheel, which blends into the vehicle’s sheet metal frame and bodywork (also made using the same materials).
