Aston Martin Works is celebrating its 60th anniversary with the release of six bespoke vehicles, each with aluminum pistons from a model representing a specific decade. The first is dedicated to the 2005-2015 original Vanquish.
All special cars are based on the contemporary Vanquish Super GT in either coupe or volante form. Fitted with a 6.0-liter V12 petrol engine, they can go from a standstill to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and achieve an impressive top speed of 200 mph. In order to create something truly special to mark a milestone like the diamond jubilee, the British carmaker’s crack design and personalization team from Q by Aston Martin was also involved – and the results speak for themselves.
Each car is set to feature bespoke elements sourced from the old models, as well as unique colors and high-end materials. The first member of the series to be released boasts fine black leather, carbon fiber weave, and contrasting yellow stitching.
