Audemars Piguet, Swiss manufacturer of extraordinary timepieces, has come up with the Millenary limited edition wristwatch, a celebration of the 15th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II Cup in Hong Kong.
This staggering timekeeper has been crafted with incredibly intricate technologies, exquisite manufacture and has been bestowed a gorgeously elegant design. Perfect for any enthusiasts’ collection, it is a watch made for connoisseurs, for those who appreciate the true nature of luxury. Following its father brand, the watch celebrates Audemars Piguet’s becoming the sponsor of the fabled Queen Elizabeth II Cup back in 1999, an event which is extremely famous among owners of horses, horse trainers and top-tier jockeys from all around the world.
So, the Audemars Piguet Millenary QEII Cup 2013 Limited Edition boasts a distinctively oval-shaped case crafted from 18-carat white gold, which, alongside the buckle, has been embellished with 339 brilliant-cut diamonds. The dial on the other hand was manufactured in a poorer way, having been encrusted with just (!!!) 139 brilliant-cut diamonds with Internally Flawless Clarity, a characteristic which turns out to be extremely important and valuable. In addition, the exquisite silvered guilloché gold dial was printed with Arabic numerals and festooned with a diamond paved off centered disc with Roman numerals. And there’s more – above the dial are superbly rotating some elegant blackened steel hands, while the strapping has been crafted from hand-stitched black crocodile leather.
