Mercedes and Cigarette Racing, each a leading company in their respective fields, have teamed up to create the Vision GT concept.
Inspired by the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo, the Vision GT is a 50’ Cigarette Marauder with a Alubeam exterior, a matte black hull and twin 1650 hp Mercury Racing engines.
Like the supercar which served as its inspiration, every detail was carefully designed to ensure the interior is truly top-notch, with five heavily bolstered seats, carbon fiber trim and black Alcantara upholstery. The model also features four high-definition displays, Bluetooth connectivity, as well as next generation integration of Garmin and Cigarette navigation and audio.
The boat was built using state-of-the-art, lightweight materials, allowing about 1000 lbs to be shaved off from the standard model, giving the Vision GT the ability to accelerate to a top speed of over 140 mph.
Priced at a cool $1.5 million, the model will be unveiled at this month’s Miami International Boat Show.
