It was what everyone had been waiting for and more,the most anticipated talent show of the year was finally brought to life! The SPOTLIGHT:SHOWTIME @UWG was presented by "The Society"and hosted by UWG's own Chinagirl radio & Levi, it included a mixture of versatile talents ranging from rappers and singers to dancers and poets. The show gave its participates an opportunity to expose and bring their talents to light in a positive environment amongst their peers! It was the University of West Georgia's first Apollo style talent show, so of course the audience was more than ready to bring the boo's! Ultimately each performer did their thing,but the winners of the show were two soulful singers by the name of Jazmine and Ciera. Their performance was great and the win was well deserved. Overall the show was a success with 700 plus people in attendance. "The Society" has definitely set the bar high for any other talent shows to come after!
