Kanye West talks to his girlfriend's mother about how his life has changed since her granddaughter, North, came into the world.
“Some days she has your lips, some days she has Kim’s lips."
Up until this point, baby North has been photographed on two separate public outings with her parents, however both times she had a blanket draped over her face shielding her from the cameras.
“I thought it would be really cool on her grandmother's season finale to bring a picture,” West said before the unveil.
“I pray she looks like her mother when she is older.”
“When my daughter was first born people asked me ‘How do you feel, is everything different?’” he said reflecting on North’s arrival.
“No not really, not everything is that different, it takes time to understand you met a brand new person.”
“My only goal as a dad is to protect my daughter, that’s my instinct to give my daughter as many oppurtunites to just be a child.”
“[Kim is] my joy. She brought my new joy into the world," he said of his family.
West also addressed any critics who may question why he’s involved with the 32-year-old reality star due to the constant media attention that surrounds her and her famous family.
"I could have people say, 'This is going to damage your credibility as an artist or designer.' And I say, you know, I don't care, I love this woman.
“She's worth it to me." he added.
